Car Question
Ok, well i have a few questions about my car. I apparently have a 1999 FX. It has cloth seats, no driving lights, no sunroof, no air conditioning, yet it has cruise control. Does that sound right for an FX?
Are you sure it's an FX? (does it have FX badging on it?) I found out when I registered mine that there is NO distinction between the VINs of an FX or an SE. Carfax thought mine was an FX, but the badging was all SE, and that is what it was registered as.
just a thought.

Since you are in Canada I'm assuming you have a Canadian Tiburon. I don't believe there was an FX model available in '99. I'm quite sure we only had the base and SE versions. If you don't have air conditioning or sunroof you don't have an SE as they were standard features. The high shark spoiler was also standard. Leather seats were optional.

Looks like I was wrong. According to CanadianDriver.com the only model available in Canada in 1999 was the FX. I was sure there are '99 SE models with the high shark spoiler.
CanadianDriver.com would be wrong. just so you know, I had the 1999 SE - KayJai had the 1999 SE,... The SE was the most popular model in Canada. The high shark spoiler only came on RD1 SE tibs. I dont know that I've seen an FX in Manitoba, but if yours has FX badging, and an FX VIN, I would say it's an FX. (seems pretty simple to me)
