too much conspiracy theory. they definitely wouldn't have been that obvious with a fake, and your links are the only views of the birth certificate I've seen so far that show the blue border, including Fox News and CNN links early in the release.
Really? Do you really think they would have released that?
And typewriters and rubber stamps 50 years ago could have made some of the differences in ink pressure or look.

Whats curious to me is why they say his father is African, not negro or black, more common terms of the day, also I read that a person born the next day has a lower number on the certificate then Barry errr im mean Obama. Why did Obama have his college records sealed with an executive order as soon as he got in the office?

That's been explained already, his father was FROM Africa, so that made him African even all those years ago. If he was a black US citizen it would have said black or negro.
I'm Canadian.....that's just what I heard while watching CNN

My links? Hardly mine. The first is the frikken SOURCE of the document from the horse's mouth. Go open the .pdf and zoom in for yourself. The blue borders come from using Illustrator to view the file, I'm pretty sure.
Emphatically yes I can believe someone in THIS administration would release the file without flattening the image first. The question is, was it on purpose to mock or stir up the people, or an accident because they suck at forgery or are too forgetful, or WHY?
Typewriters and rubber pads don't make the artifacts you see around the pixels on the final 1 in the document number. Zoom in until the number is 3" high onscreen and ask yourself why only THAT number is obviously different from the others. See the clear outline on the first numbers, then the final one is totally different. Plus (in addition to a bunch of other stuff they might blame on OCR software) that 1 is its own object in the file. The cheesy "1" at the end of the date and the 1 at the end of the document number (bottom left/top right corners) are so obviously altered it blows my mind.
There are DOZENS of layers in there. To scan and slap on a security background gives you TWO layers, if you forget to flatten it. Dozens is nothing but intentional. Some of the objects are individual letters. The signatures are in their own object, except for one line in the "ukulele" Registrar's signature.
There is no theory and no conspiracy theory here: the document has very obviously been heavily edited by persons and for reasons unknown. If it was done, there must be more than one person involved and that is a certified
conspiracy. It reaches as low as a clerk in Hawaii and a webmaster, or as high as the President, the HNIC in Hawaii, and the people who edited it. The media I can easily believe would fall for whatever certificate the White House says is the real deal, but then nobody need expect actual investigative journalism in American mass media anymore.

Why are his records from ALL his schools unavailable, as well as the reasons they both lost their law licenses, is the better question.

They ran with it on CNN et. al. for two days solid, and the Useful Idiots out there are probably more convinced than ever that the Birthers are a bunch of ignoramuses who may safely be ignored. The Birthers are stirred up by an obviously altered document and will sound kookier than ever to the uninformed. The timing is also perfect. It was 100% guaranteed to be a huge bombshell on the internet the next day, and the next day turns out to be an event watched by 2 BILLION people on television. It is also a month or so before a book outlining what probably really did happen with his birth/citizenship etc. gets released, and by then it is old news and safe for the mainstream media to ignore both the book and the controversy.

Document is heavily edited, that's beyond a doubt in my mind. Why? No idea. What was there before? No idea. It is very odd as this is poorly done. It doesn't make any sense at all.
