Theres a place near me thats offering a 50% discount on scuba diving lessons. I was thinking about doing it. Im not the strongest swimmers so is this not a good idea or would I still enjoy it?

Scuba is not swimming. Fins propel you surprisingly easily. When you are set up right, you should be at almost neutral buoyancy, so you don't go down like a stone even though you are wearing a bunch of heavy kit.

If 50% off seems like good value to you, do it!

I've been NAUI certified for 3 years. I'm incredibly happy I got certified. Most places require you fulfill at least some swimming level (certain distance/time requirements), so check it out with them before you sign.

How much is it with the 50% off? There's a dive shop out here in Vegas I can recommend if you want to make the trip out...
