Default Acura RSX???

Zup everyone! I keep seeing new commercials for the Acura RSX..that's supposedly coming out very soon (commercials make it out to be something real secretive). Anyway, what's the deal with this? Is it fast? Is it a family sedan or what? Just curious because almost every channel has that damn commercial on it when I turn on the tv. rolleyes.gif

Local paper did a road test but I only glanced at it. I will try to find a copy for you. Test was like 2-3 weeks ago, could be difficult.

It's the Integra replacement. 160 hp base model, 200 hp type-S. They hit the dealerships July 7th. Hit the ricers July 7th also smile.gif I hear it's not as good as the Teg though. This comes from Honda guys I know that test drove one and not Magazine reviewers who can be biased. I guess we'll see in a few weeks..... I think it's OK looking but not for $25K(Type-S). I'd rather get a WRX for that kind of money smile.gif

I agree with Coastal. IMO it's too Acura-ish...too much like the CL, etc. Like a family car. They totally ripped off the 300M's headlights too. This months "Sport Compact Car" has the total lowdown on the car.

Two things I like about it are the interior and the brand new 2.0L motor...but thats about it.

Personally i think the RSX is a freakin rip off. its so ugly and its weak. i mean if you gonna get 160HP just get the new si hatch youll have the same engine and lighter, the type S is just, i dont know. if they have the type S are they bringing the R over here also. i wonder how much it will cost? if i was a ricer instead of a 02 type S id just a 98-99 typeR teg.

I read in Super Street that the Type-R is Europe and Japan only. Personally, I like the deal on my Tiburon better, I end up with more money to spend on upgrades!
