Meh, maybe worth renting for the action and style, but the plot, acting, and main character all look weak/cheesy.

i dont understand. ill maybe give you the acting and main character complaints, but this story is perhaps one of the best movie-plots of all time. 300 spartans against something like 25000 persians in a battle.

 

No, I'm cool with the hole spartan v persians thing, it's the way they seem to have fantasy-alized it. It's also got way too much feel of all of the other recent ancient near-east films that have come out lately

 

well for that i guess you just have to be a fan of frank miller's work. i can see where somebody that didnt have any interest in sin city would feel the same way about this.

Sin City is in the top 5 of the worst movies I've ever seen.

Horrible. I GET the fact he was trying to do something different, but it was just horrible.

This one, while the storyline is fantastic, looks to be equal shite.
