It's still surreal and disturbing to this day. Sadly many have forgotten and fewer still care, but this was a turning point in world history. It should have been a wake up call to the people of this country. We have been isolated for so long by 2 vast oceans but that day was a grim reminder that we are in the cross-hairs of so many. And with the advancements on intercontinental travel within the brief few decades we're becoming more and more accessible.
