Default Upgrading fuel pump for nitrous

So I am going to install nitrous on my car, and I want to install a Walbro 255 fuel pump to make sure there is enough fuel.

My question is I heard on the GKs to replace the in tank pump you have to drop the gas tank, where as on some cars you can just take it out the top. Can anyone confirm this?

If this is the case I think I will just install an inline fuel pump to work with the factory one.

What, because you prefer inefficiency to mild amounts of labor?
