I am considering Nitrous,
I basically want to know of what to look out for. I want to run this setup "safe" without blowing the engine. Would my S-AFC be able to give my engine enough fuel for a 50 shot or do i need injectors? What else should i be aware of?

well what do you prefer wet or dry?

correct me if i am wrong, but wet kits are more powerfull and have a full tank. Dry kits are less powerfull. Please Inform me

i believe wet is safer since there is less chance of running low on fuel. i haven't used nitrous though so thats about all the input i've got.... laugh.gif

Ok so wet or dry is up in the air, but how about my other questions about the fuel and the company NX ZEX NOS. I think i heard NX is the best, but why and whats different?

found a nice little read > http://www.barrygrant.com/nitrous/de...aspx?page=115b

um as far as co. goes thats personal preference, i'd just look for a co. that makes a kit for our cars. you'd be more likely to not run into any problems and get better tech. support.

edit: btw, no need to quote the person directly above yah. wink1.gif

after reading that article i probally better off with a wet kit

How is the fuel injected at the same time as the nitrous?

hamhead 04-18-2005 12:11 PM

NX (Nitrous Xpress) Wet Kit... 'nuff said. When the nitrous is injected, the teed off area of the fuel line pushes in the fuel along with the nitrous. Thats the part of the install you have to pay the most attention to.

'treezy 04-18-2005 01:14 PM

go wet and don't do the install yourself.

wattsup4800 04-18-2005 02:16 PM

so i dont need injectors the stock ones are fine? How can the S-afc benefit with this?
