You are lucky to get a spare tire in a new car. A pump and fixaflat is what they are going to.

I read a magazine article a couple years back and they removed the dash and installed their bottle there. It would require a remote bottle opener and would be a b*tch to refill. I would not advise it. Smaller bottles are easier to hide.
