Pump and exhaust?

What type of exhaust upgrade should you do for nitrous?
Also the fuel pump to upgrade is from a Eclipse or Talon 95 to 98?
A place here has a fuel pump he will sell me from a 95 Talon AWD with 1400 kilo's on it, is this the right one?

for your question about the exhaust,
here's what I have without any problems
on my '97 auto tib:

75-shot dry Zex
4-2-1 Headers
free flow Random Tech. cat
2.5" glasspack
2.5" pipe
muffler
stock fuel system

a lot of fun
good luck!

so u r running a 75 shot on the stock fuel pump? how did u adjust your timing 2 degrees?

Josh 04-26-2003 01:20 AM

I forgot to add,

DON'T TRY THIS!!!

My intentions were not to suggest that setup.
I did not retard the timing in any way. Just colder plugs and high octane fuel.

As always, I wanted to push the limits to see what could be done. I started off with a 65 shot. After the first bottle, I wanted to go up to 75. I haven't made any fuel/timing adjustments and honestly didn't care (My car's getting old, 100k miles). After changing the jets, I ran a tank of 93 octane and then put some octane boost during the next fill up. Haven't had any problems and I'm on my 11th bottle now. Also, to avoid misunderstanding, I'm not saying that the octane boost makes it safe to run this shot without proper fuel delivery and timing adjustments.

I've just gotten lucky several times. Including once while spraying at the strip, when I knew my auto tranny was going bad. It slipped between 1-2 and 2-3, bouncing off the rev limiter both times. I thought that my engine was doomed, but It's still running fine to this day. The tranny on the other hand... possible manual swap in the future.
