ok i think im gettin a NX kit i jus got a few questions
going to start with a 50 shot then move to the 60 shot then probably go to a 75 after i find out how my car runs

1. i know i need new plugs from like a eclipse but what gen?
2. after what shot do you think i need to run a different fuel pump
3. where can i buy the jets cuz all my kit is coming with is a 75 shot
4. decently priced places to get guages and a bottle heater(nx is the one to get right)
5. any tips on preping the car before i spray? other than like run premium gas?

 

1. get NGK BKR6E-11 (one step colder) or BRK7E-11 (two steps colder)
2.75 but you can get a GS-T fuel pump for $20 - $25 off of dsmtrader.com id just grab one because they are cheap enough
3.ebay or jegs.com
4.id replace the fuel filter if your car is high mileage so fuel flow isnt obstructed, run some injector cleaner through the system

so basically i should get like some spare plugs and i should be ok to run a 50 shot right?

i need a bottle heater and guage i wonder if ebay has some deals

 

the rule of thumb on the spark plugs is 1 step colder for every 50 shot. Id probably get 2 steps colder because your goal is a 75 shot

also the gauge is a MUST, bottle heater is HIGHLY recommended.

 

ok i ordered the 2 steps colder plug

any ideas as to what i should gap them when i get them?

 

Most plugs come gapped from the factory now.

 

yeah but when you run nitrous...i heard you have to gap them differently

 

you could do .038 or so smile.gif

 

also you still need to double check them, i have recieved plugs from the factory that were gapped improperly
