I went to a meet last night with a bunch of cars and out of probably 70 cars there, I was the only person with nitrous. People were telling me that having nitrous in a street import is like owning a dinosaur. You only see nitrous setups in pro drag cars. Is that true? Why has nitrous usage fallen so much over the years?

 

Because The Fast and The Furious came out a long time ago?



If someone thinks nitrous is old fashioned and out of style, it is because they are a dummy who doesn't appreciate being able to go fast for cheap.

 

Because turbo.

 

People are idiots. Most of the people at meets these days are going back to the "all show, no go" mentality.



Why bother with someone elses option anyway? If I did that I'd've traded my Tib in for a civic years ago.

 

I think it's getting more difficult to find shops that can fill bottles too.

 

If it makes you feel better ive ran 35 shot n2o with 16 psi boost. because race car.

 

 

Off topic, but I absolutely love still seeing RD's around with an Alpine kit! Makes you feel all nostalgic and warm & fuzzy!

 

only thing alpine about it anymore is the mani. and elbow to the throttle body. I used the mount for the old fifth injector for the nitrous nozzle. But thanks Visions.
