freeze the nitrous bottle???
 

i went to fill up my nitrous bottle today and the guy is telling me he needs to have it overnight so he can freeze the nitrous bottle to really fill it up and have the full 10 lbs in it. ???? wha??? this is the only place close to here that fills nitrous so i had no choice but give it to him, but that sounds a little wierd for me.

Ask him if you can just weigh it in and weigh it out. Bring a scale.

Just make sure that the bottle pressure while warm doesn't exceed its rating... that seems a little unconventional to me.

sounds like either his equipment sucks and can't put out enough pressure to fill the bottle fully or he's going over the safety limit of your bottle....colder = less pressure so his equipment might be tripping off at a pressure setpoint.
