well here's the deal guys, i have a couple questions about nitrous that haven't been answered by the threads i've seen. First off, if i remember right, people have said that a 35 shot should go over without any mods to the engine. well, i'm thinking of running a 50 shot, but i was wondering what i'd have to do to my engine to make it withstand it. keep in mind that my engine has almost 80k miles on it and i live in california, AND i'm very paranoind about stuff like this, as my tib is my daily driver. so i was looking for suggestions on how to get my engine to withstand a 50 shot, while keeping it emissions legal, as i live in Cali.
also, as for actually using nitrous, i've noticed that you say don't use nitrous in 1st gear, as the added torque would probably tear the driveline to pieces. my question is, since nitrous is hooked to the switch which engages the WOT sensor, does this mean i have to take off in 1st, shift into 2nd, reach down, hit the switch and then floor it to have nitrous? any suggestions on how to do that or am i missing something? i think i have more nitrous questions, but i can't think of them offhand. but thanks in advance for the help!
