I know this is short notice, but just got with TC tonight about it

We are having a Kia/Hyundai meet this weekend at his new shop

Time will be 1pm to 5pm

TC has a bunch of stuff to show us.....

We have the I4 car set up with the supercharger, He also has the v6 car set up as well as manifolds and lots of other goodies. He also has the ability to reflash the computer and we have dyno results etc for that as well

I am bringing the megasquirt and laptop along with some door prizes, etc.

I am also bringing what I have in decals for anyone that wants to do some installs, I have a bunch of freebees.

I also hope to see some of what you guys are working on, I will also be available to test drive my car so that we can see the difference on the coilover settings.

Now I just have to locate a Hotel to stay at and I should be good.

Oh yes, I better start cleaning out the MULE.

what i would like to know is about a SC kit that he is producing being able to fit in our tibs?

we have alot less room behind the engine to the firewall than a elantra does.

 

When I met him in Orlando in February he kept saying that it would fit...... but I haven't heard of it being test fitted on a RD nor did he even bother gathering measurements off of my car nor 01steve's, after we talked to him about it.

 

I supplied him with measurements when he started the project.

Please guys, keep this to and about the meet.

 

If i could straight up drive to texas for this i would. This sounds like a pretty cool meet, too bad i live in cincinnati. Make sure and get some pictures smile.gif

Ah, explains a lot, but he never mentioned that he got measurements... Sorry.

Anyways, I don't know if TC owns the white GK that I saw that came with him but if it is there that is one nice ride to see.

Wish I could go, but I haven't driven the Tib in a while and it needs maintenance to make that drive. Next time though. fing02.gif

 

Doh! I wish I had seen this, I'd have gone. I had to be in Dallas that night for the Tool concert anyway.

Oh well, hope it was good.
