Working on MC Accent (2014) Theta Swap
 

Hey everyone...

I'm currently working on a 2008 MC Accent and swapping a Theta 2.0 in it From a 2014 GDI Turbo Sonata.

Have a few questions that I hope some of yall can answer so this process can go without hiccups...

I'm desperately trying to get the Theta to a manual...to minimize wiring, space, etc complications...anyone have connections on parts? I'm wondering how compatible are the bell housings to other models or even makes are.

Performance parts wise...now is the Theta the 'same' motor that's in the G70 and Genesis...just tuned differently? I'm probably gonna go standalone on the computer and all.

That's really the main 2 hurdles I'm running into right now...finding a transmission to mate up to the 2.0 and finding companies that make parts for the gdi theta...and if the genesis is essentially the exact same motor...then performance parts, internals and all that should be easy to source.
