hey whats up im new to the forum have been reading alot on here but never joined, i am in korea i have been here 4years as an contractor, i race my 97 tib on the weekends at songak, they have a big event called underdrag that i go to lots of nice cars, i got my tib at 170hp na, my setup is 11:1 compression pistons, 270 degree rotation cams, remaped ecu, engine swap to avante xd, fpr, sri, headers, full exhaust, tb, cam sprocket, light weight pulleys, clutch upgrade, its completly gutted out, even took out my air compressor, i go this shop called invention in asan they treat me pretty good, but next week i am going to turbo, the na setup i have spent to much money and not enough go so im going turbo that pretty much sums me up.

welcome! alot of people are going to be very interested in a remapped ecu (including myself). We've been looking for a way to accomplish it but no real success so far. So more info would be great!

btw, why is the radiator hose tied up in that one picture?

o i was in the process of cleaning my radiator, yea i paid 800 for an remap when i first got the car took my rev up to 8000, now im at 7500 when i got the pistons installed, its really neat i just tell him what i want my rev at and he pulls out his computer and does all that computer stuff and bam(basically plug and play)

rollwitstyle Sep 20, 2007 10:47 AM

well did they just raise your rev limiter or did they remap your air and fuel curves?

badnews Sep 20, 2007 10:54 AM

DONT QUOTE POST ABOVE YOURS, thats 3x so far

yes they did air and fuel curves, i gain power from the remapping pretty noticable

The Korean ecu is different then the north American ecu. It is programmable. The north American one is not.

I LOVE those Zeo heatshields, I wish I could get SFR to carry them.

And guys, they don't use the same ecu in Korea as us, it's similar, but they run MAP.

The US ECU IS programmable, that's not the issue.
