Hi All,
I just signed up after I heard about you on another Tib forum. My ride is an '08 Silver Tiburon GT. I got her new about a year ago and should hit 10k miles next month. We get along great! I'm in NE Ohio just South of Akron and have just started enjoying my semi-retirement....yeah, I'm not a kid anymore.....but I was one once....so don't hold age against me, ok? dunno.gif

I got the Tib because she was the best sporty looking fwd car around at a reasonable price. Don't want to mess with that great warranty, so I don't think any performance mods are in the near future, but I'm open to suggestions for non-ricey appearance upgrades. I did put led angel eyes on her so far and Tbadges f&r. Around here that gets her quite a few head turns. laugh.gif

welcome2.gif to the site!

You can do things to the car performance wise that wont void the warranty, like an aftermarket exhaust and an intake.

As for appearance...theres alot of stuff. Rims, tint, lip kit, carbon fiber hood, LED tail lights, etc...

Tnx for the welcome! Just wondering....is there a thread on here where I could find more typical performance upgrades that aren't likely to void the warranty? Also, do you have any before/after stat charts showing performance differences for common upgrades? I don't want to seem like a PITA so I'll start browsing. I think my first interest is maybe reducing her lean while cornering so I'll check out the suspension threads....

Luckily there is a lot of good aftermarket support for your car, you can do just about anything you would like to.

A set of stiffer lowering springs really helped the handling in our Tib. There are fully adjustable coilover systems also if you want a real race car like ride. There are also strut tower braces and sway bars which can make a pretty big difference without creating a jarring ride.
