Hello all,

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Audie Earley and I am the owner of PBR Hydrographics in Paris, Texas. Our company provides hydrographic printing, also known as water transfer printing, or film dipping services. We are able to film dip numerous patterns such as burled woods, brushed aluminum, carbon fiber, etc. You can see all of our available patterns at www.wedipit.com.

Thanks for letting me join up. I look forward to getting to know everyone here.

Kind regards,

Audie Earley
Team PBR

Welcome man to the site.

Ok guys, i referred this guy here as a way to get different approaches to painting interior pieces or anything for that matter. really need to look at what this guy can offer. I know their work from guys on my archery forum getting custom dip jobs done on their target and hunting archery tackle.

just trying to bring one more thing to the site guys.

Audie, welcome to the site. We have a dash kit available from Korea, all OEM replacement parts, that give us an awesome brushed aluminum LOOK to a good part of our dash.

It looks VERy similar to the work you guys do. I've got a spare upper dash if you'd like to do any work for folks, but I have another part I need to get and have done in this same pattern. Is there any way for me to get a sample to see how well your brushed metal product will match what I need/have?

Here is the part that is to be coated, refer to the above link to see what it currently looksl ike.

Let me know what you can do, if this matches, we could really have some nice options here.

Thanks for the welcome.

We can usually get really close to an existing pattern. A lot of it depends on how the manufacturer applied the original finish. If they used a dipping process we have better luck with an exact match. If they apply the finish during the molding process, it is more difficult. Of course this is just the pattern match. Then you have the issue of clear coating the parts to the same sheen as the original. Not trying to increase cost on anyone, but it is always better to process everything at the same time. You are guaranteed a match this way.

We would need a piece in hand in order to attempt a match. Is the piece that ursonvs is sending us the same pattern?

Thanks,

Audie

REDZMAN 01-10-2009 10:35 AM

Yup, it's the same interior. If you can match it, I've got several parts I'd like to get done with you guys and show off all over.
