1st I'd like to say hi and im very happy to have found this forum. 2nd I have a 00' pale yellow tiburon and the gentleman I purchased it from, said it was a limited edition stock paint job , is this true? and 3rd how do I determine which generation tibby I have? I would also like to mention that my Tib is completely stock (but not for long) and I hope you guys and girls will give me some great advice.
thanks Tom

97-99 = 1st gen
00-01 = 2nd gen
03+ = shitty gen

as for the paint, no idea. but i've seen 1 or 2 around here

Well hellu my young padawon learner.

Welcome to RDtiburon.com and the fantastic world of Hyundai Tuning.

The "Sunburnt Yellow" as I like to call it is limited, it was only used on one year of Tiburon that I know of. My brother in law has one in El Paso Tx.

If your Tiburon is a 00 (Even easier, 4 headlight holes or the humps in the hood), it's a 2nd Generation (The best).

Thanks for reading the rules when joining, feel free to search around and ask all you can't find allready unkay?

BTW, where are you at in the US?

ahem Redz.. we all know the RD1.. or pre 2000 tibs are the best... you keep getting it backwards.. as for colour.. I have seen a couple of the pale yellow second gens.. most of them seem to be that particular shade of yellow... but I do not doubt that it could be a rare colour. Hyundai never marketed them as rare.. but some colours are just not seen all that often.. Like the dark forest green my car is. I only know of about two others
