hello all. i am a newbie to car modding pretty much entirely. I lived with my mother most of my life and therefore have very few mechanical skills and knowledge. I have learned a lot since i started driving and lately have become very interested in modding. If any of you know a source of information that would just give me general descriptions of everything it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome man, glad to have you here. You may want to fill out your profile so we know where you are at and stuff. Search around, read the rules, search some more.

Read read read and read. Ask questions. I knew barely anything about Tiburons 3 years ago. Now I know a bit.

LOL

not only does he know a bit....he doesn't shut up

welcome to the boards. like what was already said, read through some of the old posts, like in the reference and DIY sections. you'll learn quite a bit on how stuff works and also how to do some easy and on some occasions free mods.

hahahaha.

thats because he's rooting for John Kerry. he obviously doesn't know nothing if THATS his political choice. but lets not go there...

if you're lookin for ideas on mods first. start off w/ taking your resonator out here. then, maybe when you're at it install a cold air intake. then cat back exhaust. after you get that....you will soon find yourself addicted to doing things to your car.

modding is like sex. once you do it the first time, you wanna keep on doing it.....

Hey redz don't you usually yell at people who put up posts that are irrelevant to the original question asked in the post?
