There you go, here is a DIY for the NON-CAPTIVE ROTOR SWAP. Keep in mind that in this Do It Yourself they are swapping from an accent front assembly to a tiburon front assembly. Tiburons have larger rotors that the accent so the calipers are needed. But since you'll be going from Tiburon to Tiburon the stock calipers are fine.

You will need new pads, and rotors though.

Welcome to the site, there is a ton of info on here. If you have something you need post it up or search by using the search function in the top right hand side of the page under the banner.

Yay, 2000th post. wink1.gif

Sry but the link didnt work for me...so would this DIY help me even if i have no knowledge of a brake assembly at all or should i go to a shop? Im not sure if i even have the tools that i would need to do the swap, iv heard that some people end up using an impact wrench and other shit, which i dont have, only basic tools. I would love to do it myself but i dont wanna find myself stuck halfway through. Im willing to do it myself cause i love to save money, im just worried about the problems that i could run into.

One more clarifcation- even though this swap is from a accent i will be able to follow it exactly as if it is a tiburon???

thanks again guys your really helping me out on this one.
