Hey everyone. My name is Mike and I own a 2001 tib and I live in North Carolina. It's mostly stock except for a WAI, 2 1/4 cat back, flowmaster exhaust (just wanted a little more hp and louder, and still look stock), and a nice stereo system. My cardomain site is:

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2587830

All that i'm saving up for now is a turbo and all the nice accessories for one smile.gif. I'm new to a lot of stuff dealing with engines, but not dumb. Well here's my first post, hope to learn a lot from this site.

P.S: In my opinion, the RD2 is the best tiburon made (even over the GK). I wouldn't trade my RD2 for any thing else (even over those other things called Honda's or Toyota's...)

welcome to the site

we have tons of info here about turbocharging, so use the search function all you want

RabidMidget 03-25-2007 08:44 AM

Well I didn't really hear about rdtibruon at all. One day I was just looking through google and yahoo trying to find a forum about my car so that I could start doing performance upgrades (when i get the money) and do it right. It took a while, but eventually after clicking link to link, I found you guys... then i found KSpec, and all the other parts sites... I couldn't believe that there was this much stuff for the Tiburon... i've gone through and spent hours reading many things on this site, and will continue to do so... so yeah, but this site is AWESOME, and i can't wait to start working on my car.

welcome...

Welcome man.

Heads-up, an AEM CAI can be had for cheaper than $200 if you get it used from somebody here. I saw your cardomain saying why you got the wai not the cai. Trust me, a true cold air intake makes a noticable difference.

Anyways enjoy the site and use the search button. (RED will kick some ass if you dont chairshot.gif ) LOL

RabidMidget 03-25-2007 12:06 PM

oh yeah, i know that the CAI makes a HUGE difference, but the WAI is fine for me for what i want, since the turbo's next on the list...

and about using the search button, i've already read what happens to idiots not using the search and RED destroys them... its actually quit funny lmao.gif
