Hello, my name is Dan. We bought our 2000 Tiburon back in 2003. It has been a never ending battle trying to keep the steaming pile on the road. Finally the car is starting to some around and I have started to mod it. Nothing serious yet. So far it has a cold air intake, 4-2-1 header, 2.25-inch exhuast with 2.5-inch catalytic converter and Flowmaster muffler, NGK wires, NGK iridium spark plugs, Mobil 1 5w30 synthetic oil, RedLine water wetter, Motegi FF6 16x7-inch wheels wrapped in 205/45ZR16 Toyo Proxes 4 rubber. It also has some minor weight reduction done to it and I installed a nice Sony AM/FM/CD receiver, X-plod door speakers, Delphi SkiFi XM satellite radio and a remote starter. I run Sylvania Silverstar bulbs, and have the black altezza tails and aluminum Ichibahn hole series pedal covers. Now I juts need to swap out the factory crap-out-matic transmission for an MTX and it should be a hoot to drive.

These pictures are a little old, but I'll get some updated ones another time.

I do have the actual cold air intake installed. I sported the WAI for about a month. Like I said the pictures are from last summer. I still had the weak, heavy, & bulky factory Solite battery installed in those pictures too. In addition I painted and installed the dummy scoop in the lower front bumper cover. It was also before I had a chance to put the NGK iridiums plugs and NGK wires on. I removed the Hyundai bra from the hood now too. Those are with the old wheels/tires as well. The car now has the identical wheels with 205/45ZR-16 Toyo Proxes 4 tires. In the pictures it was wearing 205/40ZR-16 B.F. Goodrich Scorcher T/A's. They were a bit too small in diameter so I went with a 45 series profile to help fill out the wheel openings a bit more. Last Christmas our shop burned down so I had to order a new set of wheels and tires as I had the factory wheels with Firestone WinterForce 195/60R-15 snow tires installed and the summer tires stored in the shop along with a 30 year collection of classic Mopar muscle parts!

I'll get some updated pictures soon.
