Hello and welcome. I to am a former Hyundai Performance member much nicer here smile.gif.
Off topic question. I have the same setup on my accent minus the header and exhaust setup. I'm thinking of doing it this summer. My main concern is it loud especially just cruising on the highway? Do you like the evofusion setup? You do it yourself or get it done at a shop? Notice any extra power on the butt dyno?
Thanks

this forum seems to be where it is at for hyundai owners! the other one is kinda dead.
as for the evovusion exhaust, if i were to do it over i think i would just buy the header(since for the 1.6l motor we don't have any other choice) and then have a local shop do the catback. then you could choose your own muffler and resonator. i also had some issues with the catback not fitting very well, it was about an inch to short so it would bang on the under side of the car on hard turns. oh, and i don't have a cat installed either.
i found the evovusion set up to be way to loud, like i don't want to drive this thing loud, so i had a resonator put in at a muffler shop.(which allowed me to fix the "too short" problem) now i really like it, it isn't even to bad on the highway. and the butt dyno tells me it is way faster laugh.gif to me it seems a little flat in the lower rpm's but after 3000 it pulls hard all the way to red line. there is a "dyno day" one of the local shops is putting on this summer so i hope to find out what i am really putting down! banana.gif

Hi boob! Nice to see you made it over!
Yeah I agree about the EF header/catback opinions boob stated. Get the header and have the rest made locally. That's what I did. Most people think my car is loud, but I think it's fine as it is. Mine's quieter than the EF catback and a way different tone. Choosing your muffler yourself will let you make it sound however you want it to.
