Jesus christ man, use the Enter button, and learn proper sentence structure.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>So you see my point on the Excel. Thanks, it ran like a champ all hatchbackie and blue with the red stripe.</div>
No, Hyundai got a bad rap because of the Excel. It broke constantly. They shipped tens of thousands of them over here and they broke quickly. The Excel was a POS. There is no way anyone gave him a trade-in value of $4000. He may have received a private party value of $4000, but no way any dealership would give him a trade-in for full value of the car.

I was in a wreck where I went under another car, causing $3000 of damage to my car. It was down for about a week. Instead of paying someone to bring it back to stock, I bought several aftermarket parts and ended up better then what I started with.

That's why the Elantra and Tiburon share the same chassis code (RD) in Korea. In the USA, however, we call the Tibby the RC and the Elantra the RD. This is because HyundaiUSA is different from Hyundai Mobis and they market/write things differently. The name of this site in the USA is ELANTRATiburon.

You run around here where the cars clubs run Euro sports and high end daddy rides and you'll get a knock or two on owning a Hyundai. Where is the relevance here? What does this say? You drive like a kid?
Hyundai does not have a bad rap. Hyundai is a very respectable car. They are ranked the 4th best auto manufacturer in the USA by consumer reports. Every car that comes off the Hyundai line gets the mystery 3 miles on it where they test it for quality. For every 2 cars that the giant Honda sells, Hyundai sells 1 in the USA. They have America's best warranty http://www.hyundaiusa.com/warranty.aspx . If that's not enough, Hyundai also gets the best gas milage in the USA according to the EPA http://usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/cars-...Economy-Report/
Hyundai started off in the USA in the 80s with a POS Excel that would not get anyone to work. Today, there is none better.

So. . . . The fact that the Excel getting 300k was not impressive then. Thanks for making my point. All imports in the 80's were practically garbage thus the cheap entry level to get into the market. I know, I was there learning on some serious Orions and Chevettes. Your mamma prolly knows what those are.
You just stated what I state on why Hyundai is great company. . . again thanks and for lack of a better term I said piece and I am sorry. I remember when you car was rocking the stock look with some lights and a stripe.
I guess you fail to comprehend "I ALREADY KNOW THIS ELENTRA INFO" was my point. But you cant read between the lines so I see the intellegence I'm dealing with, which makes this comical at least. I've lived in Korea and uhm. . my car is practically a K-SPEC Sponsor Car.
I see you've been learning how to copy paste. Must be learning from Redz. WIth guys like you I see why RD loses members faster than the norm. You just want to nit pick instead of enjoy the love of cars. Isn't that why we are here now you wanna hate?!
To end all this with my enter buttons cuz I love making this a stretched out entry. . . your posts are lame bro. But of course you post so much crap is how you have 9k plus posts.
I'm here cuz I was welcomed back. . I don't need to be here with you hounding me like you got something to prove. My car clubs are like family, we hang out meet involve ourselves. Not much happens here on the eastcoast for this site so excuse me for caring about just a forum of display names.
Grown up, I'm done son.
