Yeah well here in Backwards ass North Dakota NO ONE had a harness. Believe me I would rather have had the harness. But I must say I did a better job than harness, fully soldered connections and all double covered with shrink tubing. Perfect.

www.crutchfield.com has them for like $10 or $14 bucks.

The only problems i have is that it shuts off without warning and im not able to have my lights on and the cd player at the same time?

#2 is Rear Left (-)
#5 is Rear RIGHT (-)
That diagram is messed up. I forgot about that..sorry.
The CD powers down when the lights come on...or does the whole unit power down when the lights come on? Sounds like you reversd the "illumination" wire with the "power" wire. If you look at the diagram, #1 is Illumination (+) and #7 is illumination (-).
#10 gives the unit power
#11 gives the memory power
#14 ground.
See if you somehow messed up #1 with #6 and #14 with #7 or #1 and #7 and #14 with #6

Oh, I disagree with that. Crutchfield has been really good to me over the last 7 years. I only started ordering car stuff from them in the last 2. They don't list much for the Tiburon, but for an alarm if you order the Elantra harness it works. I just ordered a Sony Xplod MD player and the wiring harness was a perfect fit. The generic mounting stuff doesn't work, due to the contour of our dash, but I took the factory mounting brakcets off the stock unit and bolted them right on to the Sony. Fits perfect.
Crutchfield's prices are a little bit more, but with free returns, a great tech support line for install and even how to use stuff, they are definitely one of the best mail order places out there.
Plus, I used to live in Charlottesville (where they are headquartered) and all the stuff that gets returned is available for retail sale at a great discount.
that's my opinion. your milage may vary.
