I would like to get one with voice alerts so that the beeping doesnt become annoying. I would love a Valentine 1 but it's too expensive for me. I know they're well worth it, but anything is better than nothing. So I'm looking for one that wont break the bank but still does an ok job of detecting cops from a distance. Not too many cops here use instant on. It's mostly the lower bands of radar with a few here or there using laser.

I have some cheapy $70 one from ebay. It's a Cobra, but it works well, has voice prompts, and hasnt steered me wrong yet. It's saved my ass more times than I can count. lol
