It's not that bad, but it does look like an area your wife could use her Swifter Sweeper on ...and a potted plant somewhere in the corner.

...and an attempted windmill breakdance (had to add that one couldn't resist).

Update....Wing logo laser cut out of steel and polished. Put a few pieces of double sided tape on the back so it doesn't slide around, and this is the final result of everything....

That looks incredible! My trunk is done in wood too but that metal wing takes things to a whole other level. Good job!

Wonder what different shades of stainless steel planks would look like instead. Perhaps polished versus etched planks.

With your "purple" theme going, I would have gone with Purple Heart wood instead. It's really an amazing purple color and grain, especially when sanded and finished.

Not to mention I'm sure no one else has used it in a car before. The home depot flooring special is already getting played out in the car scene.

I like the natural wood. Too much of 1 color can look gaudy. Seen plenty of those kinds of cars at the car shows. If you go wood, it's nostalgic in its own right, keep it simple and beautiful. Coloring it would just seem contrived . I say you did well!

I would subtract all other purple items to get the purple heart in there. It's really that cool. Besides, there's nothing else purple in the trunk/rear yet.

The only purple I have is in the engine bay with some hoses and wire loom, purple wheel locks and a purple domo driving buddy.
