i have a question for anyone who knows, when i changed out my gauges i messed up my fuel gauge it never points to where it is actually at is that something that can be reset or would i have to get the dealer to fix it?

 

Simply take the needle off and reposition it where it should be. DO NOT just turn the needle. You need to take it off completly and then push it back on.

 

i did that but now when its empty it sits at half tank . oh duh nevermind i get it now :?

 

with the fuel gauge you can just turn it and go, this is why that was the only needle affected when he put these faces on without taking the needles off. if you want to though you can take it off and place it where it needs to point.

go fill your tank up completely. take the needle off, and push it back on so that it points to full. when it starts getting low, just makes sure that it looks to be in the right place befoer you fill up again.

you can use a fork to take the needle off. GENTLY pry on it untill it comes off. or you can just go fill up your tank and turn the needle to full and not have to worry about taking it off.

 

does anyone think there would be any way that we could get bros to make the gauges in MPH.... i mean... there are tons of hyundai tiburon owners here in the US... more than on this board... and i know that they would sell (they would sell enough that they could afford to make the gauges).... is there anyone that has enough pull to get something like that?

They do have MPH on them, they are just where the KPH marks are on the stock gauges. You get used to it after a while. I do not even look at the MPH anymore because I can tell how fast I am going by looking at the KPH.

Also, I have had numerous people ask me if my car really goes 250 MPH laugh.gif Not to mention, I have scared the crap out of 3 different girls that think I am going like 120 down the interstate lol.gif

Since I am so used to it, I will be looking for some that only have KPH on them. Then people would be really confused. :twisted:

 

Bros won't make them because they make parts for Korea. Not the US. I'll tell David to push, but it prolly won't do anything.

Ive also got the shark ones and I love em. I mean it only says Shark, not Shark racing, so I look at it like its just saying what my car is, a shark (well Tiburon), not really supporting Shark racing. They werent made by Shark racing anyway, as mentioned. It even says the bros website on the back.
