Speaker size and make on a tibby 2001

I own a tibby 2001 but I was wondering what are the size of the speakers in the car. And if someone knows what brand are used in the stock cd system speakers

6 1/2 Oversized in the front and 6x9s in the rear. The are just a basic mass marketed speaker.

Don't forget the 2" tweeters in the dash.

Hey just wanted to add. I installed JL Audio 8w0 subs in the doors you have more than enough room to do this and I will look for pictures or take them if someone would like to see. And I also put a clarion pro audio tweeter 3 inches to the left and a mb quart compition x-over in the door to make this a component set up and I have no complaints and I think it sounds sweet. If you don't like JL look for another free air sub to go in there.

Oh forgot if you want proper imaging keep your tweeter no further than 3 inches away for the midrange driver.

Actually as long as you stay within 36" with proper aiming you will be ok. Truth be known the doors are the one of the worst places for speakers, hence the use of kick panels. The doors aim the speakers directly at each other therfore canceling out many frequencys. The Tibs however would be a MAJOR PAIN to do kick panels in without foot room loss. I would like to see your 8"s in the door still though. Had to be a fun install.
