I went with the top of the line viper model, y7ou know the one that tells you to step away if you are standing to close. But to save some money just get the beginner viper alarm and that way when you save some money you can always upgrade a viper alarm. I would strongly recommend a VIPER alarm and nothing else!!!!!!

I have a Dei Viper550hf with remote start, power window roll up and down, sunroof open and close, keyless entry, trunk release, glass break sensor, prox sensor, and voice module. All said I paid $1700 for it but it does everything. And allthough you might not need all this but Viper is the clear choice I sold them at Circuit City for years and never had a problem. Don't what ever you do go with clifford many problems because they are a massed produced alarm for guess what company HYUNDAI. Hope this helps

I have a Code Alarm with keyless entry, proximity sensor, window breakage sensor, hood pin, hatch pin, extra battery, and it will soon be hooked up to my shaved door handles, so when I push the disarm button, the doors will pop open.

That was my original idea when I had the handles shaved but I found it to be a pain so what I did is installed a realy in each door attached to a modified hood pin ( not actually a pin but easiest way to explain) which is mounted inside the mirror on the bottom when needed to get into my car you put your hand under the mirror hit the button which activates the spring to pop the door. Still looks cool and alot less hassle.

Jaws..gotta give you props on the custom popper. When I had my lowrider trucks, one was a Mazda B2200. I used the B2200 Emblems as the popper on each side. When no one was around or wasn't looking, I would press the "B" in each emblem and the door would open. Sometimes people either put the popper under the quarter panel or in the fenderwell. Alot more custom if you do what you did or by using an emblem. I'm gonna be suiciding my passenger door (so one side opens regualr and the other side opens reverse) so that means I have to change the lock position all around on teh passenger side before shaving the handle. rolleyes.gif Gonna be a pain, but will look cool afterwards. eek.gif
