Does any have a radar detector? If so what kind ya got and where'd you get it? I'm thinking about going to buy one cause a buddy of mine has one in his Camaro Z28 and it saved him many times.

 

I have a Rocky Mountain Radar C450. I used to have a couple different Cobra versions. Ahve to say even though this one is a scrambler I still kinda liked those better.

 

i have the cobra 9860(i believe).

ive actually got a ticket with it. state trooper used a laser gun, and it only took a second before he got my speed. has saved me many other times though.

yeah radar detectors are very helpfull. Im cheap so i have one i got for free cause the speaker is busted so i have to look at it every once in awhile which kinda sucks.

 

i have a bel tronics one. don't know the model number, but it's like 2 up from the basic detector. Although it has saved me... when a cop uses Laser or LIDAR, you're fvcked no matter what.

I got 1 ticket while i had the detector. the cop said to me, "although they're not illegal, we don't like them... so i'm giving you a ticket." f***in ass

i've gotten 3 tickets this year 02.gif i took all of them to court and didn't get any of 'em taken away. i saved like $150 though... but when you get 3 w/in a year here you lose your license for 30 days, and have to pay $100 to get it back. so, the money i saved went towards me gettin my license back. i can't wait to see how much my insurance goes up; :roll:

needless to say... i'm done w/ excessive speeding

 

They can't give you a ticket just because they don't like something. I would've taken them to court.

ummm i bought one for 40$ at walmart last night.
