I got these directions from Sam at Shark racing...they are very helpful, and it's much easier than it looks. You do have to pop out the dimmer switch thingy and there's another oval shaped thingy to pop out on the right hand top side by the steering wheel. Remember to unhook the temperature guage wire....it's the yellow thing on the bottom left hand side behind stereo console. I know next to nothing about cars and it took me like an hour and a half to do it, including stopping to smoke up a couple times =-)

All you need to do is take all the panels off and set the needles to the correct readings. Basically, it's just the matter of unscrewing and popping. Be careful not to break the panels, and do unplug the battery and computer. Otherwise, the airbag light will stay on.
The procedure to take the panels off:
1) the panel below the steering column. 4 screws, and leave the hood release alone, unplug the dim switch.
2) shift knob
3) shiftlever cover, no screw, just pop right up, pop the rear (closer to hand brake) first then the front. pull it up by sticking your fingers from the leather boot to the inside bottom of the panel.
4) stereo panel, no screw, just pop towards the rear. need to unplug the cigarette lighter if you have one.
5) dash, lots of screws, above and beside the stereo, above the gauges, both sides of the steering column, and alot of plugs (clock, air con, fan, ...), and a temperature cable you need to unhook at the very bottom.
6) gauges holder, 4 screws one on each corner
7) gauges holder glass (plastic), pop out
8) the gauges needles
9) the stock gauges
10) pull the two little stick from the stock gauges and glue them onto the new ones with crazy glue.
Installation is pretty much the reverse but remember to fill up the tank first and unplug the battery and computer before you pull out the gauge holder. Once you changed the gauges, put the gauge holder in and plug the battery and computer so you can start the car and press the needles back in for the correct reading, such as rpm at 850, speed at 0, temp at middle, tank at full. null
