Default JBL speakers

How would you guys rate JBL speakers? I still have all stock speakers in my car but I'm thinking about replacing them all with JBL's. Their prices are unbeatable compared to Kicker, Polk and Infinity.

Jbls made my short list. It was between them and the Polk's.

I have JBLs. They are loud and a bit on the boomy bassy side but if you get the 3 way ones, the extra tweeter will balance out the bassy sound to them.

like almost every speaker maker ever, base models suck compared to the higher end.

midrange JBLs sound better than top of the line sony tho

sony can DIAF (has sony speakers in current car which suck so bad)

ill prolly replace the door speakers with some Hertz speakers, keep the center channels, and rock a single 4th order sundown 12

Have a couple of friends that swear by JBL's. I dont think they get as much promo as Kickers, Sony's, Infinity's, MB Quart or even Polk's but from my experience...I always thought JBL's were great when I heard them.
