Hey all.. x3 accent owner here.

driver's seat squeaks like a guinea pig for some reason.. and it's not exactly built for 300lbs 6"2 of daily driving.. LOL

so im wondering if anyone can tell me if any other hyundai vehicle seats bolt in and are considered an upgrade over the 98 accent "sport" seats?

tiburon? Elantra? excel? sonata?

Any help would be absolutely awesome.

thanks! smile.gif

With some modifications the seats from a GK Tiburon will bolt in and they're a nice upgrade.

GK is 2002+

Someone else who has done it might speak up, but it seems like 2 of the seat mounts worked, one needed minor modifications, and one needed pretty major modifications to work, but that's just from memory.

Elantra should be the same, but Im not 100%. Bring a tape measure and measure everything before you purchase anything.

If you know how, or know someone who can....just weld up a new set of brackets and get some aftermarket race seats. smile.gif
