indiglo needles

Does anyone know where to find idiglo needles? I found a site that sells them but the stock needles must be made of a lexan based material and vehicle must run on a 12 volt system with negative chassis. Will these work on a 98 tibby? www.importintelligence.com

Yes, our needles are clear. Yes we have a 12V/negative ground chassis.

Hey, Random... how's about on a 2001 Tib? Or did I just waste $70? Oops?

do you have to use the indiglo gauges for them to work, meaning will they work with stock gauges or other colored face gauges?

Can someone tell me how hard are these to install and what's included in the kit?

AzNxSandMan,

Mine were shipped yesterday by USPS Priority Mail... I'll be doing the install this weekend sometime, and I'll let you know. smile.gif

RedShark,

From what I understand there's a little lighting element that projects the coloration through the clear material of the stock gauge. The thing is like a little ring that sits on the underside of where the needle attaches to the gauge. Meaning no, I don't think you need indiglo gauges, it's totally separate. I'll post more once I've seen it, unless someone beats me to it.

That would be really cool if you don't need the indiglo guages for them to work. I'd appreciate you checking into it once you get them. :D

i highly doubt you need the indiglo gauges for these to work. besides i don't think the needles would look good with the gauges(both indiglo). they would probably be hard to see at night.
