Help With Amp Shutting Off
Well I tried to just take the package tray off. It still shut off the amp. So now when I get the chance I am going to try what BlueShark said and get a thin board and cut the center out of it for air circulation. Also Im going to try adding a fan at the top that would blow the air under and over the amp and see how that goes.
Here are the specs:
AP California amp AP1000M
RMS Output Power (4 Ohms) - 310W x 1
RMS Output Power (2 Ohms) - 500W x 1
Peak Output Power (2 Ohms) - 1000W x 1
MOSFET Power Supply
Pre-Amp (RCA) Outputs
Signal / Noise Ratio - 103 dB
Infinity Reference 1030W 10" 4-ohm Component Subs
Power Handling - 250W RMS, 1000W Peak
Sensitivity @ 2.83V/1m - 88dB
Frequency Response - 25Hz to 400Hz
Impedance per Voice Coil - 4 ohms

I have the Subs wired to create a 2 Ohm load. I just have the subs running off the amp, nothing else.
