Help With Amp Shutting Off

Well I tried to just take the package tray off. It still shut off the amp. So now when I get the chance I am going to try what BlueShark said and get a thin board and cut the center out of it for air circulation. Also Im going to try adding a fan at the top that would blow the air under and over the amp and see how that goes.

what are the exact specs of your subs and amp?

you might just need a more powerful amp. it sounds like you are maxing out the power of your amp. you could try a one bigger amp or two smaller ones.

***edit***

are you running anything else off that amp?
