Factory dash look?
 

I want to put guage pods on the pillar, but the DIY I found doesn't say how to keep the factory "lizzard skin" look.
Does anyone know how to make that (I like that feel and I don't want one glossy pillar ant the rest of the plastic
factory!)

They have vinyl and leather fabric out there that has that texture and look you want. You would have to cover the gauge pods in it to give it the look you're going for.
