ive been thinking about getting a set of component speakers for the front of my car. they seem to be very expensive and was wondering if they are really all that much better than just getting a good set of regular door speakers? does that little seperate tweeter make that much of a big difference?

Normally components sound better if you have them connected to an amp for high power. You dont NEED to have an amp, but its recommended. If you dont plan on powering them in that way, save yourself some money and just get a good set of regular speakers.

I have components in my Tib, but I'm running a high end 5 channel amp to run my front stage, rears, and single sub. smile.gif
