Only if you are pulling your cluster out when you have your lights on.
Other than that your Airbag light won't come (stay) on

Yes those are the faces I got, and this is the message that I got back from david, but now I think that he may not have been talking about taking the needles off.

Dear customer,

Yes!
Our Paypal address is sales@kspec.com
Needles move around in one position so they will come back down to ZERO when
you install the gauges.

Thank you.

I don't have an air bag.

Thank to all for the help. I'll take pics when I change the faces this weekend.

Hi, I installed mine like 6 months ago, but I did follow the instructions and I did cut the OEM faces to get them out without having to pull the needles.
You can actually take them out but why would you want to save the OEM faces? If you sell the car, what are the chances you will get the exact same model Tib? And you can always buy another set of faces if you sell it with those...
Personally I wouldn't risk to do something wrong and then have problems with the needles not being calibrated or gettng them to vibrate due to poor installation... but in my case I am very thorp with that kind of work...
I didn't remove my needles and they are 100% OK!

The center of your needles have like an oval plastic top, the OEM faces don't have as big of a center hole as the Bros, plus they are glued to the thing and it's not like they are coming off just easy.
Also, take good care of the little pin in which your speedo needle rests at 0 KM/H, you will need to re-use thatone.
Never mind worrying about the center hole in the Bros faces being to big, I was worriend it wouldn't look 100% OK first, but they really do, they fit 100% nice.
