Well yesterday, my cousin was putting an alarm in my 97 tibby. Basically finished installing it, it had no way of routing the wire to the siren through the firewall. Has anyone ever installed an alarm in there tibby???

TB = Throttle body

look at your intake......it should stop at a black peice...thats your MAF (mass air-flow sensor) after that theres an elbow, then your TB. look rigth behind the TB and you'll see a hole going into the passenger compartment.

tape the end of the wire to a unraveled coat hangar and fish it through from the engine side.

Is the rubber plug on the PAssangers side visible with out taking off the dash? Tibby01 that sounds simple but i really dont see anywhere to fish it through, The only place I think there is a hole is in the where the black rubber thing is which looks sumthin like a rubber slinky... u know what i mean lol

Default Car Alarm Query

yeah, cut a hole with a razor in that "boot" and then fish the wire through. it helps to have somee interior panels out of the way.
