These are the first Spy Shots we have of the 208 horsepower, turbocharged 1.6-L 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo that we've known was coming since the Detroit Auto Show.

This Turbo Veloster is riding on the same 18-inch wheels which are going to be optional on the base Veloster and which were present on the test vehicle we rode in. The base Veloster, however, has all-season tires while this one will have optional sticky summer rubber.

Differences here include a new front fascia, new grille, round fog lights and chin spoilers on the corners of the bumper. We can also see more carved side skirts and, most obviously, the huge center-mount round (the standard has rectangular) exhaust tips. There also appears to be a roof mounted spoiler pushing up on the camo.

We expect the debut of the Hyundai Veloster Turbo at either the LA or Detroit show.

Nice, front looks better than the N/A Veloster and looks like this one has lip kit/body kit

If only they did this with the Tiburon in 1996. A base 138hp version the first year, with a sporty package 180-200hp Turbo version for 1998, like the S-Coupe Turbo in 1995. Would it have been that hard? Imagine where we would be sitting today. Ahhhhhhh...

Hey they did it for the Mini Cooper and the VW Beetle! Bastards. Oh well, at least it's finally here.

The front end looks like a nice improvement. Can't wait to see what it looks like uncovered.

Overall I don't think it's creative or fancy enough like the Mini Cooper or (dare I say) the old Beetle. Especially that huge grill. So no matter what they add/change on there, it'll always be a box.
