Gave it a nice wash and wax too. This car gets so much damn attention on the road, it's crazy. Love it!!

Thanks for the photos! I am quite impressed. I do admit that this is beats its competition by far. The turbo version will be very, very tempting, more than a Genesis so I must fight the temptation.

How does it feel on the highway? Cornerning? How is this dual-clutch compared to other automatics and manuals?

 

On the highway, it rides smooth and unstressed up to 80mph. Getting there takes a bit longer, but like I said, I didn't buy this car for the speed. Cornering is a little sloppy if you're moving along, especially on a less than perfect road surface. Turning the TCS off has definitely made improvements there. I'm still trying to get used to this clutch. In sport, the car takes right off from the line with no problem, but leaving it in auto, it takes a second to engage first gear, and if you stomp on it.......yeah. You're just not going to get what you expect. Steady acceleration it will smoothly climb all six gears flawlessly. Either way, i'm learning to love it more every day, and for now it clearly grabs all the attention you've heard they do.

 

Lovin' it.. I HATED the veloster when it first was announced... It has been growing on me SOOO much lately.. I am actually hoping to be able to trade in my Jeep when the turbo comes out and pray I can get approved for a loan to get one. I already have so many small ideas to mod a Vturbo.. GAHHH!!!

Wow.....did I really say no modding on this one, lol? Got the bumper claws and new head lights today. Claws went on in 3 minutes, head lights are waiting on a couple pieces from DD so I can do the HID upgrade all at once. Front bumper has to come off to swap lights, so may as well only do it once.

 

Oh yeah.....I also did the emblems and grill cover a couple weeks ago. Hopefully, the dipped wheels will go on in the next couple weeks and we'll be ready for summer!
