be careful. friend of mine had a real f*cked up experience. takes forever, too.
powercoat was f*cked up. he complained, they said it was normal and passed their QC standards. Few months later they admitted it was a bad batch and took 'em back to refinish them. They sat there for several weeks, then he got a note from them saying they were all bent, damaged, and it was obvious he had tried to touch them up (untrue). He's been fighting a UPS claim which he's so far lost. UPS inspected then shipped back to Forgestar instead of him (UPS fault). Forgestar responded to BBB claim saying UPS refunded him (untrue, and they know it) and now he's f*cked. BBB ain't doing sh*t and closed claim after bogus response.
I'd recommend no. YMMV

i hope it was just a early set of bad batch's as a result of quality niggles, if not, they're quality control and customer service leave a lot to be desired and certainly not worth the 4 digit pricetag.
though they claim it's stronger than cast and about as strong as forged, as well being light, the flow forming process only shape forms the barrel and not the spoke or the rim beam area which are still untreated cast sections.
cheap cast or forged wheels all can crack and bend if exposed to hard impact of curbs or potholes or slamming into the wall at the track..forgestars ain't nothing better and there are better wheels out there than what these are priced at..

Forgestar aren't exactly considered lightweight wheels.
And the problem was blamed on a bad batch of powder. My b*tch is that they denied the problem at first when pictures were sent, and they've been horrible at fixing the issue. They've had issues with the handling of their wheels and quality control.
