Would you consider Tiburons as classic or collectible cars?
They're almost 20 years old now. Would that classify RD1's as classic or collectibles?

I won't sell mine ;)

20 years is a Classic. Anything is collectible but good job if you have room for more than a few RDs
|
No. The market will tell you when it's a collectible. When it sells at auction for more than the original (inflation adjusted) MSRP, then it may be collectible.
|
I own the RD1 & 2, so yes?
|
It's going to be the equivalent of the VW Carmann-Ghia. 60's Ghia, 90's Tiburon.

And it seems like it was just yesterday when FxTreme was around and James Fabin was talking with everyone, and Eyescream was making fun of people in the flame pit. :lmao:
If you can find a '96 Rev A or '97 in mint condition, cherish it and keep it as pristine as possible. |
Like was said its determined by the Market as well as enthusiasts. Will the Tib ever be a true collectible? I highly doubt it.

When I typed the URL into the address bar to come here today, my fingers wanted to put in [broken link from RDT.com]. This is not unusual for me. :headshake: |
The older Tiburons are definitely classics. The newer GKs and FLs will get to that point soon but I think the RDs is what paved the way for Hyundai to have sports coupe.
