When I took off my dash to paint it these wires were in the fog light dead switch area's. Any ideas what they are for?

that is weird. maybe you got some version of a european wiring harness with some extra features. maybe someone from over there could help out.

My 99 has the same connectors... when I finally get around to wiring up my rear fog.. I am going to have to see if I can trace them out.

White - front fog lights
Blue - rear fog lights
Yellow - supposedly "headlamp wipers," but nobody really knows because the actual switch has never been located.

I couldn't tell you where the wiring goes, I know that the illumination wires are functional (if you plug the switch in and turn the parking lights on it lights up), but that's about it.

In fact, just 2 days ago I installed my haloz to the rear fog light switch (the blue one) smile.gif

BTW, all tibs have these (rd1s at least)

Thanks man... I was thinking to use it for something similar as to hook up some different interior lights to one of those switchs. Do you know where I can find a switch for one of those dead area's?? Maybe from Mad_john?? think he can get those over there??

Hobgoblin or Dmitry for the rear fog light switch.

Cost me $40 total to get it and get it over here.

Once you get it, before you install, PM me, if you don't I expect you'll be having some troubles with it, those wires suck since we aren't able to see what they do or where they go..they're not in the ETM. I spent an entire day trying to get it all to work correctly.

John won't be able to help, they have even more "blanks" in Korea than we do.
