Default Tuning ur Engine

hey i was wondering after installed a bunch of mods, other than reseting your ecu is there any other way to tune ur car to give it the most out of the mods you installed?

Piggybacks like the S-AFC, SMT-6, EManage, etc... or you could just get a new computer (standalone) like the Haltec...

do they come programed already or do u have to program them ur self?

actually most need a dyno in order to program

There was a recent thread on SAFC vs. SMT-6 and i think in the end people were liking the SMT-6 a lil better. But then again most use those with boost.

Search for that thread, youll learn all you need to know about those to devices in there.

Even if we did, that crap doesn't work... every single car is in slightly different condition, even brand new out of the factory. And the environment you live in (air temp, altitude, etc.) plays a role. Thats why you don't go to a dyno in the Appalachian mountains if you live by the beach. The tuning will be worthless once you get down near sea level. If your looking for a dyno, you pick the one with most similar conditions to yours, and you don't go tune it on a rainy day, extremely cold/hot day, etc.

so performing a dyno will tune ur car, is that what ur say?
