Tiburon Alternator Upgrade??

I have done a search on this topic and have found little to no information on anyone doing this modification.
So my question stands, Has anyone out there upgraded their stock Tibby alt. to a higher output alternator or has anyone had thiers rebuilt?

I know I can go the route of purchasing from an audio company but I'm not going to spend $500. Anyone have any information?

I found a Chromed one a few months ago but I don't have the address anymore. I don't know if it was an more powerfull one though. I think it was.

Sorry. If I get the time I'll look thru all my Bookmarks.

Go to a local re-build shop.
They can rebuild it to any amprage you want.
I have a local place that can do it for you if you want. It costs about $50-120.00

Croat,
Give me their information if you can find it. I leave next week for Cali for 2 weeks and this would be the perfect time to have that mod done. Thanks for your help.

I do not want to spend $500 on an alternator from an audio company and Stinger's alts. run around that price. I just believe $500 is an absolute ridiculous price for any alternator unless is is made out of 24kt. Gold!
