what is your alt amp rateing? 75,80,90 AMPS is it new oem or a rebuilt one..

i really hope its the alt.. I guess it makes sense, my turbo DP is like 1" from alternator and i have been turbo for over two years now.

 

If you go to autozone and by an alt odds are it'll have a lifetime warrenty and you'll never have to buy another for the tib.

 

i gotta question about the whole alternator deal... how would the battery last even a few weeks if my alternator wasn't working.. wouldnt it drain like overnight?

 

no, a battery will charge to 1V below source voltage. You can put in 12v, but your batter will only charge to 11V. It's still enough amperage to turn over the starter, but the voltage is decreased.
